Introduction

Good evening world,

My name is Porter. I am a senior at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill studying history and political science. I have a slightly morbid sense of humor, strive always to be politically incorrect, and am a huge music junkie.

For the past year or so, several of my friends have been encouraging me to start a blog. Why? I couldn't tell you. I think it might be because they got tired of listening to me fanatically rave about minutia on a regular basis and felt this might be a more constructive (and more easily ignored) avenue for the expression of those thoughts. At any rate, here it is. I have absolutely no idea what, if anything, I'll be writing about, but for the time being I'll try to record a random thought or two when inspiration strikes. Right at the moment, it does not.
